Introduction
and Warm-up Exercises
Walking, for me, is often an adventure and, many times,
restorative as I make discoveries. One of the things my
husband Sam and I have most fun with is finding "Faces
in Nature", as well as in other spaces.
TREE STUMPS - During Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne, we
lost thousands, maybe more, of beautiful trees, here in
southeast Florida. The STUMPS
that were left after cutting hold beauty and many stories.
What do you see?

EXERCISES:
Find the faces. Do they evoke humor? Sadness? Other emotions?
What do you see in addition to, or other than, faces?
Explore this in writing or other art forms if you wish.
Between now and the start of our teleclass, spend some
time looking for "faces" in your world. In how
many new and creative places can YOU find them?
Any questions? Write Sheila.
Have Fun!
