Volume 1 - Number 71

TODAY'S PHOTO
As we end the week, a beautiful setting sun. This one calls attention to itself, rather than a sky of beautiful reflecting clouds, that for which I usually look. The sun is also cut by telephone wires, something I usually avoid. Yet this week, probably influenced by the head lamp photos in PICTURE TO PONDER Issue 68, I was appreciating the play of technology with Nature in this view.

As you go through this weekend, notice times when you might be able to bring a fresh eye to a situation or to a natural scene before you.

Happy holidays to all who are celebrating religious days today and Sunday and a wonderful, inspiring weekend to all.

READER COMMENTS ON THE LAST ISSUE - Issue 70

"Nice, very sweet photo of a critter that most people think of as scary! How did you get so close, a good lens?"

"Yikes, Sheila! How close were you?"

It's the magic of my Fuji S5000 digital camera, that I love, especially for its 370 mm telephoto lens. I was quite a safe distance away, and much higher up than the gator.

"Since I had a 10+ and 8+ pounder, I am glad the human race doesn't have to carry on their back."

"Fascinating! I've learned something about mother alligators that I never knew or would have guessed. Now tell me how the mother gator gets all four to get on her back at the same time, let alone stay there."

After reading the latter comment, I was curious, so went to google to see if I could find an answer. I did find a page with a couple of photos on a baby gator on it's mother's head and, for those interested, a page with information that explains the difference between crocodiles and alligators.

TELECLASSES AND OTHER PROGRAMS-
being offered by Friends of PICTURE TO PONDER.

Only a few days left to take advantage of: March FREE membership in ARTELLA. This weekend I discovered the Members Only LISTENING ROOM, where various talented people share, by audio, their expertise on a wide range of subjects important to our lives. See ARTELLA March Membership.to check out the archives for free til March 31.

OTHER WEB SITES
For those of you who are not aware of it, my presence on the web started, almost five years ago, showing my manually enhanced nature photography. All of the photos were taken with my Samsung point-and-shoot, film camera. See NATURE'S PLAYGROUND.

HEALTH AND BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY
During this past year, using the Isagenix program, I've happily released 25 to 30 lbs of years of excess weight. For a site that has great information, including a TV report segment on it, check out Wealth and More Time, should this be an area of interest for you.
