face in a sprinkler system

TODAY'S PHOTO -
Picture to Ponder - Issue 210

a face found in the sprinkler system, the full view of which I've included on the left.

For those who were curious as to the photo that I discussed and did not use in the last issue (See ISSUE 209), above is the face to which I referred. It is in the section, upper right, of the full view where you can see the pink rectangle.

Once I noticed the face, I, of course, focussed in on it with my camera and took several photos. Today's featured face is actually from the far side of the full view as shown here.

I love all the textures and the variety of colors resulting from age and weathering of the materials. The boldness and the daring of the face also brings a smile to mine.

SELF-REFLECTING QUERIES -
Interestingly, today I smile as I view Spinkler Face. The other day when I was deciding on whether or not to use it in Picture to Ponder, the face looked threatening and somewhat ugly.

I wrote then that I was looking at the picture through the opinions and reactions that I assumed many of you would have. I could, of course, have been totally off base and apologize for that.

Bottom line, for today, there is a feeling of peace for me as I allow myself to be and simply share another view, getting complete on my expression in the last issue.

Are there areas in your life now where you are struggling to please one or more people based on what you think they want, rather than on what you'd simply like to do or say? If so, I invite you to do a reality check on your perceptions with them. Are they actually thinking what you say they are?

If, as in the case here, it's not so easy to do that check, then I invite you to relax, be yourself and share them from there.

Have fun today, looking at some things or situations from several different angles, both close up and from a distance.
