sunrise reflected in the ocean at Delray Beach

TODAY'S PHOTO -
Saturday's sunrise reflected in the ocean and the surf at Delray Beach.

For me, there is as much joy, and sometimes more, in experiencing the transient reflections of the sun on the water at both sunrise and sunset as there is in observing the sun rising in the sky.

Yesterday's photo of the sun and its affect on the clouds was stark and dramatic. Today's picture, despite the strong breaking waves, evokes a serene feeling in me.

The pinks behind the breaking waves and the calmness of the final landing place help create this effect. There are also the strong horizontal lines which contribute to the overall restfulness amidst the high energy of the bright sun and the waves.

SELF-REFLECTING QUERIES
-
I mentioned, yesterday, my need for getting to the ocean and sunrise to restore my energy.

What things do you, can you, do to restore your energy and your peace? Are you aware of what creates balance in your life?

If you are, I suggest you make note of this, writing it down and saving it for when you need reminders. Be prepared for when you need it, the same way that we discussed "without-electrical-power" needs yesterday.

Peace.
