LAST ISSUE'S IMAGE (ISSUE #34)-
An egret in Wakodatchee and I don't have the answer yet on the structure. It looks to me like a dam and perhaps they use this to control water levels. I did find an 8 minute video that explains the building of these wetlands for reclaiming water. See VIDEO, if you'd like to see the birds in action.

LAST ISSUE'S IMAGERY -
It was mainly the bird contrasted against the structure of wall that appealed to me here, the starkness of the bird in that environment. I also liked the architecture of the whole image and its contrast with the organic nature of most of Wakodahatchee, apart from the boardwalk.
