LAST ISSUE'S IMAGE (ISSUE
#34)-
An egret in Wakodatchee and I don't have the answer
yet on the structure. It looks to me like a dam
and perhaps they use this to control water levels.
I did find an 8 minute video that explains the building
of these wetlands for reclaiming water. See VIDEO,
if you'd like to see the birds in action.
LAST ISSUE'S IMAGERY -
It was mainly the bird contrasted against the structure
of wall that appealed to me here, the starkness
of the bird in that environment. I also liked the
architecture of the whole image and its contrast
with the organic nature of most of Wakodahatchee,
apart from the boardwalk.
TODAY'S IMAGE -
at a local nursery.
