Volume 1 - Number 8

LAST ISSUE'S IMAGE
(ISSUE #7) -
consisted of an immature Purple Gallinule, it's reflections and those of the surrounding plants in Wakodahatchee Wetlands.

THE IMAGERY -
It had been my intention to wish you a good holiday feast, using a photo of the "teen" gallinale stepping out onto the skinny branches of a Fire Flag plant, whose flowers the gallinales eat. When viewing all the photos I had taken, I got caught up in the beauty of the colors and reflections in the one I did use.

For the curious among you, who want a better look at the "immature" gallinale, as well as "mature" ones, I put up a special page on the eteletours.com site. See GALLINULES . They are a beautiful species, more commonly seen during the summer months.

TODAY'S PHOTO -
You get to say.

As always, a reply with your experience with the photos is always more than welcome.

It was fun getting an email on Friday, from Mary, stating, "I can hardly wait for the next issue when you tell me (precisely) what it is I'm looking at. LOL! In the meantime, I love the rippled reflections in the water and the blend of colors." Thanks, Mary. Whatever each of you sees is perfect!

"It could be that one of the most important functions of art is to make men aware of the greatness they do not know they have in themselves." Andre´ Malraux
