LAST ISSUE'S IMAGE (ISSUE
#38)-
a cactus, according to the sales receipt.
LAST ISSUE'S IMAGERY -
I usually think of cactus as prickly or with thick,
rubbery-type leaves. Though, on close-up
the leaf edges are "toothy", overall the
plant seemed somewhat smooth to me and the leaves
not as "tough" as they appear in the closeup.
See full
plant for a totally different feeling.
When I saw these plants in the nursery, I was immediately
attracted to them, once again having the feeling
of mandala. Given this is the third time, I think,
in these Issues that "mandala" has come
up for me, I decided to "google" a definition.
On http://www.crystalinks.com/mandala.html
it states:
<<Mandela [sp] derives from the Hindu language
meaning 'concentric energy circle.' A circle represents
protection, good luck, or completion. Mandalas are
linked with sacred geometry, psychology and healing
>>
I can identify with all but one of the elements
listed. Guess which? I think those of you who like
science and/or mathematics, will find the sacred
geometry
link there to be quite interesting.
SUBSCRIBER COMMENTS include:
"WOW. I think this is my favorite so far. It's
like a present! or a fabulous birthday cake! It's
incredibly beautiful. I love the way the light shines
through."
"I like this one because the shapes seem
to go deeper on infinitely."
"Oooooooooooooooo, purple and green - my
two favorite colors!!! They just make me come alive.
And the smooth surface on the leaves as well as
the tiny toothlike protrusions are very cool too."
"Another breath taking visual moment!"
TODAY'S IMAGE -
There ARE orange leaves here in Florida!
Appreciatively and Inspirationally,
