LAST ISSUE'S IMAGE (ISSUE
#27) -
I'm not really sure what it was. It was on a crane
high up above the water in the dock from which we
took a one-day cruise.
LAST ISSUE'S IMAGERY -
Sam says that this piece of equipment is used to
lift and move large containers, including railroad
box cars. What appealed to me, in using the picture
on Friday, was it's giving off a sense of peacefulness
after a hard day at work.
My current passion for photography, and what it
opens up, started several years ago when I got carried
away taking a few thousand photos during a period
of 3 or 4 months, daily and twice daily visiting
a construction project at a beach near our home
in New Jersey.
During that time several of the pieces of equipment
often felt personified when I viewed the resulting
photo prints. On the TRUCKS
page of another of my web sites the 3rd and
9th pictures particularly exemplify this. To me,
both of these were at rest after a satisfying day,
hard at work.
TODAY'S IMAGE -
from our weekend.
