LAST ISSUE'S IMAGE (ISSUE
#23) -
a Little Blue Heron in Wakodahatchee Wetlands.
LAST ISSUE'S IMAGERY -
We liked the graceful flow of the bird's body, in
this particular view. Personifying it, we'll say he
was thoughtfully thinking about what lies ahead this
week. On the other hand, in his world, he was probably
stealthily looking for food.
Mary Gray, one of our regulars who delights us with
her responses to each day's mailings, went searching
on the web to see what this bird was. She couldn't
find an answer and she did come upon an interesting
article on Wakodahatchee Wetlands.
I was about to give you the link. Then not knowing
the source of that site, I decided that I'm not comfortable
passing it on. I will give you the Palm Beach County
Water Utilities's link to the "official"
Wakodahatchee Wetlands site. See their tour,
where you can get a sense of the boardwalk. There
is also a page with a listing of categories
of birds that are there, including many pictures
of birds within those categories.
TODAY'S IMAGE -
you decide, until tomorrow.
Inspirationally,
Sheila
